The 2018 Sino-Foreign Audiovisual Translation and Dubbing Cooperation (SFATD) Workshop· Shanghai Session will be held from June 12 to 18 this year. The SFATD Workshop is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the State Administration of Radio and Television of People’s Republic of China. Over 50 international guests from over 30 countries will be invited to attend the workshop to facilitate international cooperation in audiovisual translation and dissemination.

　　Seminars, forums, field trips and roadshows will be arranged during the workshop. International experts will be able to exchange views on audiovisual translation and cooperation with Chinese counterparts, visit Shanghai TV Market and Shanghai Film Market as well as watch roadshows of Chinese film and television companies.

　　The 2018 SFATD Beijing Session was held from April 17 to 21 in cooperation with Beijing International Film Festival. 40 international experts from 24 countries as well as over 100 Chinese experts attended the workshop and over 200 Chinese films were promoted.

　　Since 2015, the SFATD Workshop has been successfully organized for 4 consecutive years to build a platform for international audiovisual translation and cooperation. Over 240 international experts from 60 countries have attended the workshop and a great number of international projects have been incubated.
